Terms of Service

DONGYI provides the following services and products:

• Die-Sinking EDM Equipment: Sale and delivery of precision electrical discharge machines designed for mold manufacturing, aerospace, and medical component industries.
• Mold Machining Services: Contract manufacturing services for complex EDM applications.
• Integrated Solutions: Automation systems, system integration, and turnkey EDM solutions.
• Technical Support: Installation, training, maintenance, and after-sales service.

2.1 Order Acceptance: All equipment orders are subject to acceptance by DONGYI. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.

2.2 Specifications: Equipment specifications, performance metrics, and technical parameters are provided for reference. Actual performance may vary based on operating conditions, materials, and user expertise.

2.3 Delivery Terms: Delivery timelines are estimates and subject to manufacturing schedules, shipping logistics, and customs clearance. DONGYI is not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.

2.4 Inspection: Customers must inspect equipment upon delivery and report any damage or discrepancies within 7 days. Claims made after this period may not be accepted.

3.1 Standard Warranty: DONGYI provides a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months from the date of installation or 18 months from shipment, whichever occurs first.

3.2 Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by improper use, negligence, or unauthorized modifications
• Normal wear and tear, consumable parts, or electrode materials
• Environmental factors such as power surges, improper voltage, or contaminated dielectric fluid
• Repairs or servicing performed by non-authorized personnel

3.3 Remedy: DONGYI's sole obligation under warranty is to repair or replace defective parts at our discretion. We are not liable for consequential damages, production losses, or indirect costs.

Customers agree to:

• Operate equipment in accordance with provided manuals and safety guidelines
• Ensure proper installation environment (stable power supply, temperature control, adequate ventilation)
• Provide trained operators and follow recommended maintenance schedules
• Use genuine DONGYI parts and approved consumables
• Comply with all applicable local safety regulations and environmental laws

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DONGYI shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, production downtime, or business interruption
• Damage to workpieces, tooling, or third-party property
• Claims arising from customer negligence or misuse

Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the equipment or service in question.

All intellectual property rights in DONGYI equipment, software, documentation, and technical data remain the exclusive property of DONGYI. Customers are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use provided materials solely for operating purchased equipment.

Reverse engineering, copying, or unauthorized distribution of proprietary technology is strictly prohibited.

7.1 Pricing: All prices are quoted in USD or other agreed currency and are subject to change without notice until order confirmation.

7.2 Payment Schedule: Standard terms require 30% deposit upon order confirmation, 60% before shipment, and 10% upon installation acceptance. Custom payment terms may be negotiated for qualified customers.

7.3 Late Payment: Overdue payments may incur interest charges at 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law.

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, technical specifications, and business terms disclosed during the course of our relationship. This obligation survives termination of the agreement.

9.1 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China.

9.2 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to arbitration in accordance with international commercial arbitration rules.

DONGYI reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
